So much has happened since last we met. First of all, I'm 21 now (Woohoo! Party!...Not really, though), entering my Senior year at U of Tennessee (jeez! Where has all the time gone?), I am working (and LOOOOOOVING IT) at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, and I'm getting ever closer to going to Ireland!
Barring future complications, I'll be booking my trip this September for the next year (you get a discount for booking a year in advance)! My funds are sitting pretty right now! A few more paychecks and even the monthly rent and gas prices won't get in my way! My dream is just in reach! All it is now is work hard, stay out of trouble, and wait patiently for the moment to reach out and take that dream and make it a reality!
Can't thank those of you enough for supporting me through these years - especially during the time since my last post. A lot has happened, good and bad. My new job is definitely a good thing that has happened. I can't say enough how much I love my co-workers and employers, all of whom have welcomed me with open arms to their tight-knit working family.
We had a pancreatic cancer scare with my grandmother. However, thanks in no small part to the wonderful people at Johns Hopkins Hospital, she has had the cancer removed, and so far, she's doing much, much better! She's back home, living from day to day, and it seems that she's on an upward curve!
Will post more if I can soon!
